This industry-developed qualification, CHC33015, is endorsed by sector bodies and designed by experts. It ensures that you possess the necessary practical knowledge to thrive in small, medium, or large organizations within the hospitality industry.

The total number of units required to complete the Certificate III in Individual Support is 13.
Out of these 13 units, there are 7 core units that are mandatory for all students. In addition to the core units, there are 6 elective units. These elective units have certain requirements:The selection of electives should follow these rules to be eligible for the Certificate III in Individual Support. It is possible to choose a combination of electives that meets these requirements and can lead to a qualification with a specialization.
For each specialization, specific elective units need to be chosen:
For the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), all Group A electives must be selected.For the Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), all Group B electives must be chosen.
For the Certificate III in Individual Support (Home and Community), at least four units from Group C electives must be selected.
If a student completes two specializations, the qualification obtained would be the Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community).
It is important to note that all chosen electives must contribute to a valid vocational outcome that is supported by the industry.
