That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new service: Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
RPL is a unique process that assesses your previous knowledge and learning, acknowledging your skills and experience regardless of when, where, or how you acquired them.

So, what exactly is Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)?
It’s a comprehensive evaluation that takes into account your formal, informal, and non-formal education, whether obtained in Australia or overseas. Our team of expert academic staff members, who have extensive expertise in their respective fields, will assess your prior learning against the learning outcomes of Australian Qualifications.

The main advantage of RPL is that it reduces the number of required learning activities needed to obtain a Nationally Recognised Qualification. Through RPL, you may be eligible for Credit Transfer, Recognition of Prior Learning, or advanced standing, enabling you to expedite your educational journey.

Here’s how the RPL process works at Laughter Percussion Academy:
⿡ Initial Assessment: Our dedicated consultants will conduct an initial assessment or pre-assessment to understand your prior learning and determine the necessary steps for your RPL journey.
⿢ Document Identification: We will collaborate closely with you to identify the necessary documents and evidence required to successfully complete the RPL process.
⿣ Portfolio Creation: Together, we will gather the necessary documents and create a portfolio that highlights your skills and experience in the relevant field of study.
⿤ Verification and Assessment: Your portfolio will be sent to our partnered Recognised Training Organizations (RTOs) for an initial assessment to verify your competency in the subject. Rest assured, the assessment will be conducted by experienced academic staff members.
⿥ Qualification Issuance: Once your competency has been assessed and recognized by our partnered RTOs, the college will award you the qualification.
